  1. Shreeyantra Tapu resort is located in Srinagar, Garhwal Uttarakhand, it is a newly modified hotel and has a tie up with Oyo. The rooms are good but still needs improvement. The bathrooms are not hygienic and old plumbing and needs total modification. Staff service is not up to mark and they are not professional. The food is average taste and served re- heated rice and Curry. Its not buffet. Breakfast also they have given only Puri. We booked Chardhaam yatra through Thomas Cook but they cheated us by changing the Hotel rooms and also promised buffet breakfast and Dinners. Thomas Cook Collected huge amounts and sold our chardhaam package to Gouri travels and this fellow arranged basic hotel accommodation & food. Overall they both enjoyed the margin amounts and spoiled our chardhaam tour.

  2. Outside view was excellent and scenic, as river is flowing by and we can enjoy nature but the rooms were very dirty at various places inside, bathrooms unhygienic, dirty plates were lying in the corridor close to the room, floor of the room was unmoped. Entry area and close to kitchen where they cook chappati in bhatti it was drastically stinking. Lack of management was seen . The amount for the room we payed never expected such service.

  3. An ok type of hotel for those who would like to stop at Srinagar. The staff was very courteous. However, the facilities need more attention, as water went away around 3 am, and it took us two hours to wake up the attendant to pump water. The restaurant is just so so.

  4. Poor experience.

    What went wrong:
Non-functional geyser despite clarifying that I will only be taking a room with running hot water.
    Reason Given: Voltage Fluctuation
After haggling they turned it on but it was non-functional and did not heat the water.

    Hospitality –
no offer of a concierge to carry luggage (i usually tip concierge)
They stated at the outset that due to covid guidelines they are unable to provide towels. Which is fine, except it was more to avoid cost than to comply with the guidelines.

They were rude when i haggled for hot water. I don’t understand why i would be given a reason like hot water would be available at 6 in the morning due to voltage fluctuation in the first place. That isn’t supposed to be my problem. It’s a hotel not a home-stay. By the way, i eventually had to bathe with cold water even in the morning.

No provision for food/room service. Food is delivered from a random dhaba and there is no accompanying cutlery, merely a disposable plate.

    Quite awful, frankly.

  5. 3 km before Srinagar main bus stand, on the bank of Alakannda river. Beautiful view from here. Food is normal. Rooms are good. I stayed twice here away from market.
