Wonderful experience at Raj Guest House. Room spacious, very good bathroom and balcony with great view. Clean and affordable. Raj is a great host, kind, very helpful. We felt like at home, did not wanted to leave this wonderful and quiet place. The beach is very close and the most advantage in my opinion is that the Guest House is not on the beach directly but 200m back so it’s very quiet and you don’t have bass music from the beach restaurant during the week-end.

I had an excellent stay at Raj Guest House in Gokarna! The ambiance of the guest house was cozy and welcoming, and the staff truly went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Their behavior was outstanding—always polite, friendly, and supportive. They were incredibly helpful in guiding our trip, offering valuable recommendations, and even arranging anything we needed promptly. The location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk to the serene Kudle Beach and only 2 km from the iconic Om Beach, making it super convenient for beach lovers. Overall, I can confidently say this is one of the best stays I’ve experienced. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Gokarna!
We stayed here for 4 nights and loved our stay here. The location is so peaceful. We were able to spot lots of pretty birds from the terrace of the property which was cherry on the cake ! The caretaker Chandu was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay . It felt like home 😊
My honest review of Raj is that he is very helpful. Because of an unforeseen trip, we were unable to book any accommodations before leaving for Gokarna, and we arrived at 5 a.m. When we called a few beach resorts early in the morning, no one answered responsibly, so I called Raj Guest House at random to inquire about a stay. Despite the fact that there was no booking, he offered us a room until 10 a.m. at a reasonable price, and the rooms are excellent, simple, and have a wide a restroom. On busy days, he also helped us rent a bike.Thanks, Raj
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are a little small if you are booking 1 room for 3 people which we did but the price is also reasonable for it. The rooms are neat and clean with 24/7 availability of hot water. The owner Raj and Chandu bhai are very gracious and will help in every way possible.
The only problem I would say is the path from parking to the rooms is not good. It is hardly 100 meters but would not recommend for elderly people. Also my 1 recommendation to the owner would be to provide atleast 2-3 breakfast option as they only have maggi with tea and coffee. But overall a ver good option to stay in Gokarna.
