Refund Policy

At Bharat Backpackers, we strive to offer exceptional travel experiences and services, including tour packages, car rentals, and driving school programs. We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to modify or cancel your bookings. This Refund Policy outlines our terms and conditions for refunds, cancellations, and booking modifications to ensure transparency and clarity.

1. General Refund Policy

All refund requests are subject to the specific terms outlined for each service type. Refunds will be processed according to the original payment method and will include only the base amount of the service unless otherwise specified. Processing times for refunds may vary based on the nature of the transaction and the payment method used.

2. Tour Packages

  • Cancellation more than 30 days prior to the start of the tour: Full refund, excluding any non-refundable deposits or transaction fees.
  • Cancellation between 15-30 days prior: 50% refund of the total amount.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days prior or no-show: No refund.
  • For modification requests (date changes, itinerary adjustments), please contact us at least 15 days in advance. Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Car Rentals (Self-Drive and Chauffeur-Driven)

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before the start of the rental period: Full refund, minus any applicable processing fees.
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of the start of the rental period: 80% of the booking amount will be refunded.
  • No-Show or Early Return: No refund will be provided if you fail to pick up the vehicle or return it early without prior notice.
  • Modifications to the rental period or vehicle type must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and may be subject to availability and price adjustments.

5. Driving Learning School

  • Cancellation 7 days or more before the start of the course: Full refund.
  • Cancellation within 7 days of the start date: 90% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellation after the course has started: No refund will be provided.
  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days before the course begins and will depend on availability.

6. Hotel and Accommodation Bookings

  • Hotel bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the specific hotel property.
  • Cancellations and refunds will follow the hotel’s policy, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Early Check-Out or Late Check-In: Refunds for shortened stays or delayed arrivals depend on the hotel’s terms and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7-14 business days. Please note that depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to reflect in your account.

8. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services, promotional offers, or discounted packages may be marked as non-refundable at the time of booking. Please review the booking terms carefully, as no refund will be provided for such services in any circumstances.

9. Refund Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Services that were utilized in part (e.g., partial use of a multi-day tour or early return of rental cars).
  • Bookings canceled due to unforeseen events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, or government restrictions, unless otherwise specified.
  • Non-refundable deposits and service fees mentioned at the time of booking.

  • Full Name and Contact Information
  • Reason for Cancellation or Refund Request
