Recently had the pleasure to visit the resort.. booked it after reading online reviews and I must say it didn’t disappoint.. love the peace and quiet.. staff was helpful.. food was good.. if I ever gonna visit Lansdowne will stay in Samskara & Samsara only.

It was a nice experience to stay there ,service and rooms very up to mark.
Food quality was good but it’s quite expensive as the quantity is also less.
But the staff and service was very good and location is just 4km away from Lansdowne market.The best part is the sun set view from our room Balcony
had a very disappointing and horrible experience at Samskara & Samsara. From the moment we arrived, things started going downhill. There was no electricity for most of our stay, which made the experience unbearable. The hotel was extremely dirty; cleanliness was clearly not a priority here.
The management’s attitude was shockingly unprofessional and rude. They were completely unhelpful and dismissive of our concerns. We were promised certain amenities and services during booking, but none of it was fulfilled. The itinerary shared was a total lie, and nothing was as per their commitments. We felt misled and cheated by the entire booking process.
I strongly advise against staying at Samskara & Samsara. Save your money and avoid this place if you want a pleasant and hassle-free experience.
Check booking by the name of Monika Sharma, when your generator maintenance was scheduled but you still took the booking ignoring how much customer has to face in middle of summer and when we tried to checkout with refund, your staff denied for refund however initially they were ready to refund. We paid you 23k for two days and we have seen your generosity by offering us 1500rs as compensation.
Excellent location away from hustle bustle of Lansdowne town yet very near to it. It’s on top of a village of total 199 population.
The service is excellent. We relished the food. The preparation of Indian dishes are awesome, though didn’t like the Chinese cuisine very much. For alcohol lovers, they serve chilled beer, though hard drink is not available.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly and accommodating staff who made sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. The campsite itself was immaculately maintained, with spacious and well-appointed tents that offered the perfect balance of comfort and rustic charm. Waking up to the stunning panoramic views of the mountains each morning was nothing short of magical!
The facilities were top-notch, with clean restrooms, hot showers, and plenty of amenities to make the stay comfortable.
One of the highlights of our stay was the wide range of outdoor activities available, from hiking trails with jaw-dropping views. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for day hikes and nearby attractions.
Overall, it is the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or just looking to unwind in nature, this is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning soon!
