This place was much better 3 yrs back.
1. The management has not maintained this place at all. Rooms looks pretty old and dirty with broken lamps, shower. There’s no clean place to sit inside and outside your room. Bedsheets, pillows, chairs are dirty.
2. There is trash constantly burning near the attached beach, so if you’re here for clean air, you won’t get that.
3. Path to the beach is not clean – trash everywhere.
4. They won’t give you drying racks so people will dry their undergarments in their balcony and you’ll have to enjoy that view because you’ve already paid.
5. Loud music and mediocre food in the restaurant with a high price.
6. Staff is not trained. They won’t let you enjoy the beach or pool. They will roam around and stare at you which makes you feel uncomfortable.
Only good thing is the beach which you’ll have to reach after crossing some trash and thorns/spikes.
I am here for a relaxing vacation but it’s getting opposite. Not worth the high price, I would better be home. Surprisingly this is a 4 star resort and have a very good review on google.
Arrived here having looked at the pictures, videos & positive reviews with reasonable expectations. Really drab old worn & tired reception which doubles as a dining hall. Grounds uninspiring & room smelt damp with very worn upholstery….
didn’t want to spoil the highlight of our holiday so checked out almost immediately & found somewhere nicer.
Had booked 4 nights & absolutely no question of any refund.
Don’t believe positive reviews (although staff seemed nice enough). Photos & videos really deceptive…. nowhere near as nice as depicted…don’t be fooled. Choose somewhere else please!

It’s a beautiful property next to beach. Set up is nice 4 rooms in cluster gives cottage feeling. Swimming pool is well maintained. The path to beach is covered with coconut and palm trees, gives beautiful and cozy feel.
Overall infrastructure and ambience is good.
Service is good. Imagine at a place where water and electricity has to sourced. How they manage. Things are expensive as even milk comes from Port blair. Staff is trained but seems get tired during peak season, they have to do lot of running around with service extending to rooms, pool, beach….

Amazed how they manage such diverse taste and food at such place. Agree you won’t get absolutely fresh ingredients but the cooking is very good.
Recommended if you are looking for me time, solo or quiet trip.
We saw lots of honeymooners, families with parents and young kids too..
They can add area for kids engagement, music is must. can encourage club activities like tambola, caroom, live music
Since this place doesn’t have night life, it gets boring in evenings.
I recently stayed at Sandyy Wavess on Havelock Island, and overall, it was a great experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay. The accessibility to the beach is outstanding, just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful shoreline. However, the professional service could use some improvement, as there were a few delays and inconsistencies in the staff’s responsiveness. On the bright side, Bikas in the restaurant provided exceptional service, making every meal a delight. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few areas to fine-tune.
One of the best properties in Havelock Island without a doubt. Breathtaking private beach with a facility for candle light dinner. The rooms are luxurious and comfy. The staff throughout the property is courteous, polite and highly cooperative. Special shout-out to Indrajeet Das who was very helpful & is a very polite person. Highly recommended property.
