Very disappointing stay vis-a-vis the expectations from a 4 star chain of hotels. The property is newly developed. Has beautiful ambience with large rooms. However the food was pathetic with very limited choices in the buffet. It seemed, they are under staffed who are untrained too.
Currently staying at the property.. bit away from the city at Ambala Rd..
My booking is a MNC corporate booking, i checked in at hotel in the evening around 7pm.
The hotel is new and looks 7/10.. the room key was given to me n i took the elevators and had to walk past 3 coridoor to reach my room, when all rooms on the way were not occupied .. the room n wash room was decent but the room doesn’t hv any window ..
Any ways, did order from room dining (tandoor snacks item) but after 30min of prep time I was served another version (fried) than ordered as per their menu. When highlighted the staff was much courteous to apologize n was ready to replace the order, another 20min..
I decided to hv it at their restaurant which is again past 3 coridoors n elevator ..
The restaurant was 80-90% occupied n staff were running like headless chickens.. I requested them to make me a table near the buffet as it was just vacated… But they were busy..
I noted an empty one without a setup n placed myself there.. my in-room dining order came.. they forgot the tissue paper, aoron, serving water… I put it to the captain at the restaurant
The refill of the menu required to be reminded to the captain.. got a seat n a grab, but again they didn’t set up the table even after the captain asked them to do..
I ordered for tandoori roti, got butter roti. I requested again n after 5-7min was served . But no water, tissue, apron.. the guy said, main aapke liye roti lene gaya tha.. thankful I am..
Over the phone, I was told that there were 5 types of desserts.. but couldn’t see any at the spread. I checked with the staff n was told – woh halwai ke ghar pe koi problem ho gai hai, so woh chala gaya…
I said enough of it for the evening, n strolled back to my room through the coridoors..
I booked this place as it’s a SAROVAR chain prop but it’s “Sar over pair” head over heels…
Poor guys need basic trainning.. writing this because I like this chain hotel n can’t see that a bin n grand hotel loosing it at the start.. buck up guys, you can do much better..
Below the expectations.Such a beautiful property and not properly managed kills it all.Buffet -never again, big disappointment 😥 not even 1 dish was tasty, better would be Dhaba on the way…. Regular food on order -is much better but quantity is VERY MUCH KANJUSI …. chilli potato 🍠 comes @ 1/4 of the size @HUGE plate ….Aloo to susta hai always- when WHY !!!!!!
Orders are late, not properly managed,no uniform.Floor also dirty, shoes sticking to surface…. Improve guys 😉, otherwise all will use those discount coupons and when it won’t run further….
P.C .Had to arrange plates from other tables and serve my birthday cake 🎂 to my guests by MYSELF 😄🎁 what a wonderful service, prompt and efficient!!!!
VV bad experience. This hotel is not worth even a 2* hotel. Wondering how it’s rated 4* – a big question.
Only building rooms r OK but other things terrible.
Hopeless service
No response on repeated calls.
No hot water
No iron facility
Hangers not available
Amenities not satisfactory.
