I recently stayed at Seashell Havelock, and it was a fantastic experience! The resort is conveniently located very close to the jetty, making it easy to get there right after your ferry arrives. The proximity to the jetty also means you’re well-connected to all the water activities and scooter rentals, making it super easy to explore the island at your own pace.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What I loved most was the balance between luxury and nature—the resort has a calm and peaceful vibe, surrounded by lush greenery. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always available to help with any requests.
Seashell Havelock is also a great base if you plan on visiting popular spots like Elephant Beach, which is just a quick boat ride away. The staff can assist you in booking water sports like snorkeling and scuba diving, which I found really convenient. For those wanting to explore the island by scooter, rental shops are just a stone’s throw from the resort.
Havelock being a small island, Seashell’s location ensures that you are close to restaurants, cafes, and other amenities, making your stay hassle-free. The restaurant also offers a variety of delicious food options, so if you want to relax and dine in, you won’t be disappointed.
Overall, I highly recommend Seashell Havelock if you’re looking for a stay that combines convenience, comfort, and proximity to all the best that Havelock has to offer.
This hotel is right on the main road. Around a kilometer from the jetty. It’s easy to get an auto from here to anywhere on the havelock island. The security guards will help you if you are an introvert.
The rooms are small but serve the purpose ( if you want to roam around the whole day and just want to crash in the night )
The attached restaurant is good. The hotel has an in house activity center that provides some activities like Snorkeling, marine trail etc. We tried Snorkeling and they were decent.
This hotel is pretty close to a good restaurant “something different” that has good food and ambience.
We recently had a stay in sea shells. No doubt the locality and food was awesome.
Service was on point.
But there are few points to be note down or they can actually improve.
Firstly, the cottage room is small ..its like a duplex where staircase is extremely small.
One can easily fall like i did. It was a scary fall as there are insufficient light installations in the room.
Secondly.. light keeps going on frequent basis.. in every 15 mins light goes out.
Already there is insufficient light and on top of that light keeps going.
Conclusion is .. I would strongly do not recommend the cottage room with stairs.
They are highly dangerous.
I am still in pain .. my whole trip is ruined.
I stayed at Sea Shell Havelock Hotel for three nights in March with my child for our spring break holiday, and we had an amazing time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to start our day right. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff were friendly and always ready to assist. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the hotel. The location is fantastic, offering easy access to local attractions and beautiful views. Overall, it was a great experience, and we look forward to returning!
Seashell is a nice resort about 2min drive from Haddo Jetty. The resort is well maintained, it’s clean and the service is good. However, the beach by the property is not great and it’s super rocky.
I rated low on service because they have really weird rules like in their Nicobarese cottage cannot be shared by 3 people. They were asking us to pay almost the entire price of the room for another addition before they finally agreed.
The private beach is not as fun, there are not as many restaurants around. I would say stay in this resort if you wanna spend more time in the resort and not outdoors. Breakfast is quite decent, good spread and the restaurants serve good food.
Overall, there are properties which are more suitably located.
