Last week I was at the resort for a retreat.
And unfortunately the very next morning I sprained my foot while coming down from my room on the steps.
I personally want to thank all those people who work there for taking so much care of me and showing their love and compassion every time they come across.

Food was awesome and resort have a very divine impact.
The staff was very helpful and arranged a special birthday dinner for me! The food is generally good. We had a bit of an issue with our room so they promptly changed our room too!
Shaantam is one of the best places to stay in Rishikesh !
I had organised my yoga retreat here from 19th to 23rd September and had booked 8 rooms!

Room service to food and courtesy of the staff. The senior most staff as well took great care and effort in making sure we had no trouble. The food was just AMAZING ! The way they serve the food and take care of everyone’s choices is commendable.
The yoga hall, spa and the beautiful location is just great. The pool is clean and well maintained and the lush beauty around it makes it worthwhile. Best part was that it’s pet friendly and our pet enjoyed a lot.
Overall experience was below average. Entrance, Play area, Pool, Balcony everything was so dirty, full of dust. When asked from staff to clean, they cleaned but not properly. Intercom and Airtel were not working so faced lot of trouble. Neha Bajpayee (on the reception) was the only one becoz of whom we could spent one night in the property, else we would have left. Restaurant staff was also cooperative but management booked the wedding becoz of which nobody was paying attention to individual bookings. It’s ok if Resort wants to book wedding but then they should not book private bookings. Becoz each and everyone was busy in taking care of the wedding. Will not recommend to anyone
We 3 couple stayed in Shaantam Resort for two nights.
Upon arriving we found out the bedsheets were not clean enough, room keys were not working properly which took sometime to fix .
One of the rooms was having water seepage on the wall which was giving very bad smell. Upon raising the concern ,they changed the room but they should check the room before to avoid Hassel.
Bath tub had water clogged which again was a pain. We had to call room service again and again to get it fixed. But still the water was not draining properly. Had to take shower with the clogged water 😔
I would also like to highlight here that this property does not have the proper parking place, they park the Cars at the porch (SLOPE). The hotel valet driver hit our Car while parking and also accepted that the car got hit by him. We have informed the same at the reception but they took it so lightly, the manager of the property was so rude and was not ready to accept it that this was happened in their resort premises and with their driver. Instead of apologizing he started arguing with us.
I must say Food was great with lot of good breakfast buffet options. Location is good.
Complimentary foot massage was very relaxing.Pool was clean. Location is nice with very good view.
Gaming area is very dirty , least maintained and suffocating as it doesn’t have proper ventilation.
The resort is charging a great amount from the guest and this kind of gesture , amenities is not at all acceptable. I know in this room rate, u can find some other good properties as well.
