Beautiful to be in touch with the tropical, the Ganga river, the quiet and the traditional. We came here for a night’s stay 2 years ago.. and now I write this review as it crossed my memory with such joy. I enjoyed the natural pool! Friendly staff, good food.
It was the perfect place to stop & recharge for a night during our long travel. Rooms are spacious, beds are cosy and the washrooms are designed beautifully. It’s a quiet place even tough it is located on the main road. I loved having all the sweet dogs around! 🐕

What a great spot. A world class swimming pool with fresh water. Beautiful clean rooms in a modern /traditional homestead. Set on the bank of the Alaknanda river, I couldn’t get a better place. Food and Hosts were top notch and fussed over our 9yr old son. I had my best sleep in months!

I had a lovely experience at the Shivnandi River Lodge. It’s a delight for people seeking peace and calm in nature, away from the city. This staff is very hospitable and caring. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed the beautiful sounds of the river, traditional pahadi food, bonfires under the starry sky, and great company of the host. I would highly recommend staying at the lodge for a rejuvenating retreat in the nature. 💯❤️
