Recently stayed there and paid over Rs 6000 per room which is exhorbitant for the facilities there. We encountered problems in 2 bathrooms which were somewhat corrected by a staff (not a plumber). Took many requests for starting cable TV. There were only 4 odd staff for the whole resort. Intercom stopped functioning in evenings. The cook was an amateur. Free breakfast was limited and extras were charged. Overall the resort needs professional management rather than untrained staff.
The place is good…staff is so so ..But the food is disgusting…They food quality is bad and moreover they charge a lot for food….
I was shoked when I ordered breakfast, I ordered for aloo ka partha which they charge Rs 100…I was unable to find aloo stuffing inside it was jst a simple small roti fried in oil….
Again the next morning I asked for plain paratha…it was shocking to see that they served the same type of roti and a single piece without any sabji …which they charge Rs 70 and if u want to take sabji u have to pay for the sabji also….
And rooms I have taken 2 rooms ….we were 5 adults…I asked if in 1 room we can adjust 3 person…as per we were family we cud have adjst…but for money they said in one room 3 adults are not allowed, we have to purchase another mattress in that room which they charge extra Rs 700/ person….
Did not liked it?
I stayed on the 11th of October, service was excellent, food was good, nice rooms, comfort beds etc….
Only one thing we are suggesting is bar should be there 😁
Overall a good quiet place to stay small pond is there. Staff ok. Not to expect fancy food
This place is certainly over rated. We booked a room on second floor well in advance but they gave it to someone else. After showing all the proof of booking and chat details they said ‘sorry ‘without being actually apologetic. We had to settle for the less.
Moreover the view is not so great.
There is power issue too and in spite of having power back up the manager is reluctant to switch it on. He keeps on saying it will come in no time.
There is a tv in the room but with no connection. If it was admitted during the time of checking in there would not be any issue, but the manager pretended to recharge right then, came to our room did something with the tv set but it never worked.
What we felt that there was no honesty.
The wifi connection worked though.
In my personal opinion Sangti Valley of Dirang will be much more preferable regarding scenic beauty.
