My stay and experience in Sol village was very good, especially the rooms are very nice and the food there is awesome. Everything is fresh and organic, a lot of vegetables are grown in their own farm. Definitely stay there once and enjoy the wildlife, I would definitely recommend it.
I was on a cycling tour across Assam and had the opportunity to be at this unique location near KNP. If you are an avid Nature lover like me, I am sure you would love this gem of a place! What more, the owner Sunny is such a cool and knowledgeable guy! We chatted till late night about Kaziranga and other travel stories (we being travelers from heart, vibed instantly). He was kind enough to show us his barbecue skills and we chatted long watching stars!

Sol Village Jungle Lodge was fabulous in every sense!
The place is situated amidst farms and local people’s homes. It was really serene and calm. Best part, one can easily reach this location by following google maps.
The stay was amazing! The design of the cottages and the details in it were unique to see. The rooms were clean with all the basic amenities available in the room.
The dining area was at separate place where home made food was served. And it was one of the best during my whole vacation.
The host was very welcoming and generous. We had a chance to go a village walk/sight seeing and a bonfire at night.
We could also easily book for kaziranga safari the next day with the help of the host.
It was really our kinda vacation here.
If u r looking for a place to stay near kaziranga. I will really suggest this place. It’s a little on the expensive side but totally worth it!
Sol village jungle lodge was a lucky find !
My experience with the place was a beautiful one, not only because the lodge is uniquely nestled in a charming rural landscape, but also because of the host. Sunny is a fascinating person, a perfect host and a an engrossing conversation buddy by the bonfire (another reason for a 5star). The lodge is conveniently close to the eastern Kaziranga Jeep Safari zone, and has quiet surroundings to explore on a bicycle (sunny was kind to lend his ). The hosts are comfort food experts and they make from fresh vegetables straight out of the lodge’s farm and a variety of meats!
Sol village lodge is a work of passion and I could definitely feel it. I highly recommend a stay for those who love to stray away from the usual and the crowds. Thank you Sunny for hosting me.
