Everything about this stay was breath taking. Beautiful views, incredible staff, cute monkeys and lizards. Staff was super helpful, friendly, and great! The food is spectacular. The rooms and hotel are gorgeous – super luxurious. The attention to detail to make your stay comfortable, relaxing is perfect!
Serene and peaceful. Beautifully designed – aesthetically as well as practically. Efficient and courteous service. Excellent food. Love the place. I only wish their buggies went down to the pebble beach so that seniors like me could access the beach and go across the river.
Magical location by the Ganga and surrounded by mountains on all sides;
Brilliant local pahadi touches in the hotel decor, meals and even local musicians at tea time and breakfast!
The staff went above and beyond, flagship of the Taj experience. Special shout out to Shourya at the front desk on night duty.
My family ate at all restaurants- riverside, pebble beach and rock flour (all day diner). Food is delicious and served beautifully.
The infinity pool overlooking the mighty Ganga might be one of my favourite pools ever!
Try the haldi adraki martini for sure.
The wellness circle spa was an oasis of calm! We got the ayurvedic consultation from Dr Sneha (another highlight- don’t miss it), got aromatherapy massages- all of these enhanced the wellness aspect of our experience. Ganga arti at Taj is a divine experience, and very eco-friendly! I loved being able to walk/run around the beautifully landscaped property and to the Ganga.
Thanks to Taj for an incredible stay and for the warm warm hospitality!
We stayed at the property in April and had 2 Deluxe rooms .
All good with the rooms and the property in general has a nice view and plush.
Must add though that we were a bit peeved by the hotel not helping out when one of us fell sick on the last day with an upset tummy .
It was either the food or the water in the swimming pool which caused the infection as we had not eaten elsewhere.
I had to arrange a doctor and a taxi late at night on my own and it was really difficult arranging things in a new city and felt the hotel had a hands off approach to the ordeal (we had approached the property management for help)
It’s a nice place with good view and rooms well presented but I would have expected the hotel to be a bit more forthcoming in offering to help -They didn’t and hence for me the service is just average .
Things are very fine tuned as you would expect from a Big Hotel Chain, Rooms are good given the constraints of space at hills.
Service wise , Restaurant service is good but otherwise Room Service seems under staff ( temporary problem)
Location is great but a little off unlike other Taj properties.
Comparing this with other Taj Hotels, way above than other Hotels expect Oberoi at Agra.
