Great Stay, But Watch the Billing:
Overall, the location and ambience were excellent. Room prices were reasonable for a five-star property, and the breakfast buffet was good. There were difficulties managing the crowd during the breakfast buffet on Diwali morning. Guests were left waiting, and the staff struggled to clean and prepare tables for the next guests in line. Additionally, empty food items were not replaced quickly enough. To improve the experience, it’s best to avoid crowded seasonal weekends.
However, the only disappointment was the dinner buffet, for which we paid extra, and it was definitely not worth the price.
They offered a 15% discount on food, but due to a software issue, GST was calculated incorrectly. I had to show them the correct calculation and made it clear I wouldn’t pay a single penny extra. The price was quoted over the phone excluding taxes (18% and 22%), and the discount wasn’t properly communicated to the relevant staff.
So, make sure to double-check your bills before paying and confirm the total amount, including taxes, for any additional services in advance.
Delightful property. Energetically suggested. The feel was exquisite and quieting, ideal for unwinding. Clean ocean side close by genuinely made this a superb excursion. The greatest issue is food choices are extremely less and breakfast/supper buffet taste is less than ideal.
Gave a backyard view room instead of a proper garden view. Took 1.5 hrs to change to room thanks to the manager at the reception.
The breakfast spread was repeated the next day and the bakery items tasted bad. Housekeeping and reception response was always poor. Receptionists didn’t know about the facilities at their own property.
Location wise it is amazing but services are not even close to a 4 star
We stayed for 4 days and our stay was fantastic. Staff is very courteous and very friendly. Chef was also very kind to prepare jain food for us. Property location is amazing if you want a quiet vacation and property is huge. Overall a very pleasant vacation and a memorable stay.
The rooms are old Portuguese style with wooden charm. The rooms are huge and have ample of space for easy storage and movement. You will not feel stuffed a bit. But the main highlight of the place is the staff. Each one of them is the sweetest most attentive person I’ve met. They pay attention to detail which shows a true mark of a 5 star property. One in particular was Ms Neha. She went above and beyond with her team to make our stay extra special as we were celebrating our anniversary here. I loved the outdoors. The proximity to the beach and the ease of travel inside the resort because of golf carts available on property.
The only point of concern for a person without their own car and bike would be the location. It’s towards extreme south and quite far from a lot of main beaches. If you’re looking for a stay to detach in your own world then it’s the perfect place to unwind.
