Monkey Trail Resort is a fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. The interiors were tastefully done, creating a cozy and inviting vibe, and the washroom was spotlessly clean with hot water always available—perfect for the chilly October evenings we spent there in 2024. We enjoyed a two-night stay, and it was truly Instagram-worthy, with beautiful corners everywhere to capture memories. The huge dining area offered plenty of space to enjoy meals, and the bonfires added a warm and fun touch to our evenings. A pleasant stay overall!

Basic facilities are available! Toiletries n tea / coffee making are at request but free of charge!
Food is prepared instantly at request. Very delicious 😋. Feel very homely! By 5am meal n coffee we’re ready to start my yamunodri tour. Whatever extras I requested was instantly provided.

The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and designed with a blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Waking up to the breathtaking views of the lush greenery and towering mountains was an absolute delight. Every corner of the property felt like a peaceful escape, surrounded by nature’s tranquility.
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. The local cuisine was delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Every meal felt like a special treat, served with warmth and care by the staff.
However, what truly set *The Monkey Tail* apart was their unparalleled customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. Special mention must go to Bhagat Singh, who made our experience unforgettable. Not only did he ensure we were comfortable, but he also personally accompanied us to Yamunotri, ensuring we had the best possible experience while praying to Goddess Yamunotri. His dedication and commitment to our comfort and well-being were extraordinary.

Money Tail Resort is a hidden gem in Yamunotri belt. Mesmerizing mountain views, amazing hospitality, and clean rooms makes your stay comfortable and memorable. Food options (buffet for dinner breakfast) are limited yet tasty. Hotels in this area are not that great and this indeed is a welcome change! If you are planning to visit this are, Monkey Tail will be a good place to stay. Specifically Mr Rawat was very helpful.
