This original English cottage kinda Manor hotel gives you the feel of how the British lived in India pre-independence. It is on a hill top. Rooms are small but tastefully done. Come to this hotel for the amazing hospitality from the staff and views. We absolutely loved our stay here. They even provide shuttle service to the mall Rd at the bottom of the hill from 10am till 8pm. Which makes seeing the city easier.
I had a stay of 2 night in this property and I was so shocked to see the hospitality of this place. The staff over here is very unhygienic and never prompt in their service. My stay package included 2 meals as well, must say I had one of the worst food ever and tbh these people won’t we bothered to give you more food options and ask you to play for ever single dish you order even if your buffet is included in the package. The manager over there Mr.Rohit tried to hide all the mistakes done by them and was not at all able to handle then situation nor he was able to provide us good environment. I was denied every single dish I wanted to eat and these guys just kept asking me to pay separately even after all meals were included in my stay. I would never recommend anyone to stay a property where people are so money minded and provide nothing in return, absolutely pathetic behaviour.
Review Title: Unacceptable Hygiene Standards – Health Hazard!
I am outraged by the shocking lack of hygiene at this hotel! During my recent stay, I witnessed a mouse brazenly roaming around the restaurant area. This is completely unacceptable and poses a serious health hazard to all guests. I immediately raised this issue with the General Manager, expecting prompt action, but was met with a shockingly casual and dismissive attitude.
This negligence is appalling. It makes me question if this hotel cares about the safety and well-being of its guests at all. How can anyone trust the food quality here when such a basic standard of cleanliness is ignored?
I demand immediate action to address this serious issue. Until then, I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think twice about their health and safety!

Had a horrible experience at this property. We witnessed a mouse at the Stellar bar where we were having evening hi tea.
When discussed the incidence with the GM and showed the video as a proof , he paid no heed to it and walked away. Such casual attitude wasn’t expected. Very disappointed with the hygiene of the hotel as they call themselves a five star property.
I traveled along with my colleagues for a corporate business meeting for a couple of days, The overall experience was great when it comes to services, rooms and basic amenities, Food was delicious evening snacks were good and high tea has to be a bit more organised with other options like your River Retreat.
Weather made our day!
