Approx 500mtr downhill from old market, but not much elevation, overall great location.
Rooms are clean.
Valley view rooms are amazing coz they get direct sunlight post noon.
Service can be improved thou.
This is an impeccable place to stay. Extremely kind and friendly hosts, beautiful and very clean rooms, fantastic view of the tawang monastery. This was one of the nicest stays in the North East I’ve had in a month!
The best hotel in my 20 days trip to Northeast. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Its budget friendly and quiet peaceful place. I would prefer everyone to go check the hotel, really nice and you will just love it.
Me and my wife are on self drive trip to tawang Arunachal Pradesh.
We stayed at hotel The Oak Tawang it was really a great stay homely food and great hospitality by Mrs Sonam & Mr Kasa.
We stayed for 3 nights.
Daily breakfast was served early when we required. Sonam had taken great care before serving food she is very hardworking women and taking care of guests . Even we were served local rice with cheese potato curry.
Clean Room, room heater, reasonably big size rooms. Clean washroom .
You can see tawang monestry great view from window .
Overall FIVE STAR
Neat and clean hotel with great views. Room which we chose had a view of Tawang monastery. They provide a portable heater which is very much required. Bathrooms are clean and basic toiletries are provided. You can order breakfast lunch and dinner. Service is really good.
