Kalpa was in our bucket list for the last 2-3 yrs.
As in the last week we visited the property, so amazing hospitality, room & also specially food. The chef was truly amazing in cooking. Every item was too delicious 😋 specially the french fry. At that height it was not expected from us but he proved us wrong😀.
So thank you Dada & Didi for the great hospitality.
& also wishing all the best for the cafe.
Had a very nice experience staying here while on Spiti circuit tour. The rooms are so open and airy! The whole place has a very open vibe and I loved it. The hostess is such great company and has amazing hospitality.
The view from the rooms is to die for! There are apple trees right outside the balcony. And the food is great as well.
Stay at The Satluj was just great, amazing. The host, Priyanka Sarkar made so homely atmosphere for us. I will definitely recommend people to stay here. She is the best host I have ever seen.. I wish her all the best for her future endeavours…
I can simply sit in the balcony/terrace for a week staring at the mighty Kinnaur-Kailash Range with Mt.Shivling🏔️
The place is so serene & pure, you won’t feel like getting back to the Citylife.
Also, to mention The Satluj has the best host and owner Mrs.Priyanka Sarkar Thank you once again Priyanka Di for letting me experience this very little part of Himalayas ❤️❤️❤️
If you love to spend a few days in the lap of Himalayas, and you are looking for a peaceful stay, then you can plan a stay over here.
Also, it has an in-house apple orchard, which I believe would be an added advantage if you visit during blooming/harvesting season.

The Satluj restaurant and guest house is located at the entry of Reckong Peo. The ambience is good and the balcony provides a picturesque view of the Kinnaur Kailash mountain range. The food was delicious as well.
