Just wanted to say what a beautiful property this is and the warmth and love of the staff makes the terraces so so special. Every corner of the terraces was unique and super duper luxurious. Special mention to your Gardner who has golden hands and the love with which we were fed for 4 days was super duper sweet.
It’s a beautiful place and to run it with super success for more than 2 decades, cannot even begin to fathom the level of commitment and hard work that has gone in it. I’m from the hospitality industry hence my review is more detailed than most. The spa services were very luxurious and indulgent. You just cannot miss booking yourself a treatment here.

Ps- I’ve sold the place to multiple ppl over these past two weeks. Just can’t stop raving about it , soon will take my parents there too. It deserves to be cherished and enjoyed, that’s the beauty of “ the terraces “.
We thoroughly and most delightfully enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were grand and spacious, the bathrooms luxurious and the green lawn outside our cottage rooms were so refreshing. There should have been a partition between commode area and dressing area where clothes/luggages are to be kept, it’s a bit unhygienic I feel.
Food was top class at least when we were alone. Evenings live music was amazing, the singer was so talented! Service was spectacular but yes a bit confused when too many people landed the next day. My only problem is rates were too high, for the food, the sightseeing and even the transfers to Dehradun. May not be seen as value for money but guess they are not even targeting that segment. OverallnI found the whole Terraces Kanatal mind blowing and memorable !

Nestled high in the mountains, this Italian restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with warm, rustic decor and a stunning panoramic view of the snow peaks.
The menu is a perfect mix of traditional Italian dishes. I started with the Chargrilled veggie Pizza—perfectly crisp topped with zucchini and other vegetables. For the main course, the spaghetti aglio olio was exceptional: rich, earthy flavors complemented by the silkiest pasta I’ve ever tasted.
To end the meal, the blueberry waffle was light, and just the right amount of sweet.
Highly recommend for anyone seeking incredible Italian food with an unbeatable view!
