This place is an absolute gem for anyone looking to unwind in the lap of nature. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by serene forest views and the soothing sounds of nature, which set the perfect tone for our getaway.
The rooms are thoughtfully placed to ensure privacy and an immersive experience in nature. It is well-designed, clean and very comfortable. The decor maintains an elegant feel, perfectly in line with the natural surroundings.
The staff were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and warm. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, providing excellent service with genuine smiles. The level of hospitality here is truly commendable, as they anticipate guests’ needs and are always willing to assist.
Dining in the open-air space with views of the hills and pine trees were an experience in itself.
It was nothing short of magical. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by pristine nature with impeccable hospitality and great food, this is the place to be. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return!
Don’t go by the pictures on their website.. as this property is much more gorgeous than that. I stayed with my husband, child and pet for 3 days and we had a wonderful experience. The room was very spacious with a very decent size balcony. The bathroom was also big and well maintained. The property has plenty of indoor and outdoor game options. There is a small play area for toddlers which my kid enjoyed. They have a restaurant that served delicious food. On the first day, we even had a live barbecue and singer. In total, I would definitely visit again.
We travelled to Lansdowne with our family and had a wonderful experience at The Woods Retreat. Service quality is excellent, with very responsive staff and servers. Food quality is very good for dinner and good for breakfast. The evening tea is a great touch. Overall would highly recommend the place.
The staff at this resort were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. It will make you feel close to nature 😍

This hidden gem of a resort offers a truly immersive experience in nature. The food was delicious, showcasing fresh, local ingredients. Live music added a wonderful ambiance to the evenings. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the locally pahadi tea ( milk tea cooked in charcoal). If they can add some snacks with tea and some activities, it would add to the experience.
