This hotel is on hight and to go to this place, you need to take around 200 stairs from mall road. If you go by personal vehicle then it will be little tough to reach there as roads are narrow but if you are good in driving on hills then not a big deal. By the way hotel provides assistance by their staff to drive the car to Hotel from mall road. There is a different kind of smell which I did not like, when you enter in hotel.
Room was good and arranged properly. I found ventilation issues in room and in hotel. Breakfast was good and prepared on time. They have ample parking space. Overall my stay of 13 to 14 Oct 24 was good in this hotel.
Terrible Experience at Treebo Kosmos Anamika, Nainital
I recently stayed at Treebo Nainital for 4 days and had a truly disappointing experience. The hotel failed to live up to even basic expectations.
Firstly, pictures on the website DO NOT match with the real rooms. The quality of room was dirty and poorly maintained. The bedsheets, quilt covers were torn and looked like they hadn’t been changed in weeks and there was dust everywhere.
Landline was not working and we got the device changed thrice but nothing happened. We had to climb down 2 floors for every single thing.
The flush button in the washroom did not work properly and kept falling down. We had to ask for basic Toiletries and towels.
The staff people were unprofessional and untrained. When we raised concerns about the cleanliness, room service, etc the response was slow and dismissive.Upon asking, we recieved the kettle and it was all filled with leaves. To which staff replied, we did not check. Is that even ethical???
The hotel promised several amenities like free Wi-Fi and room service, free breakfast but all were a joke. Wi-Fi barely worked, and room service was non-existent. For 4 days we did not get any room service or cleaning the washroom. For Breakfast buffet they had only 2 things everyday and no change in menu.
All the visitors who were staying in the hotel had similar complains and none of them were satisfied with the service.
For the price I paid, I expected much much better. We spent 14k for 4 days and the stay was not at all worth it. I would not recommend Treebo Nainital to anyone. It was a huge letdown, and I am never booking any Treebo property ever again.
For the price we paid, this place was a total rip-off. Tiny room, lackluster breakfast, and mediocre facilities. You can get a much better experience elsewhere for the same amount.
Not exactly what we see in the pictures online , person at the reception was very rude with the room service
Dont try to order anything from their hotel service if you happen to stay here by any bad luck
The staff at the front desk were unhelpful and borderline rude. When we had a problem with our room, they took forever to respond and seemed annoyed that we even asked for help.
They didn’t even bother to help you with the luggage to your car
Just 1 waterbottle for 4 guest , where does this happen.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Treebo Kosmos Anamika, Nainital from the night of September 8th. My experience at your property was highly disappointing and far below the standards I expected.
First and foremost, upon our late arrival at around 12:05 AM, we were shocked to find that no assistance was provided to help us with our luggage. Given the hotel’s difficult location, this made check-in incredibly stressful after a long journey.
Additionally, I had spoken to the Treebo guest reservation team and was clearly informed that I would be charged for two rooms plus 50% of one room, as we planned to check out by evening to catch our bus at night. Despite this agreement, we were shockingly charged ₹1000 extra. This blatant miscommunication left us feeling frustrated and deceived.
Furthermore, the hotel charged us for a water bottle, which is usually a basic amenity provided free of charge. This felt like an unnecessary and exploitative additional charge.
To make matters worse, the condition of the room was appalling. The bedsheets were soggy and emitted an unpleasant smell, making the stay uncomfortable. There was no fan in the room, which led to poor ventilation. Moreover, the bathroom was extremely compact, further diminishing our comfort during the stay.
