This was my first time in Port Blair…after searching a lot we found this amazing hotel
I had a fantastic stay at this property. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and I especially appreciated the thoughtful service from Jonas and Shilpi, who went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Jonas was always available with a smile to help out beyond what we expected…We loved the delicious breakfast and room service as well. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.
I recently stayed at this hotel and while it has some advantages, there were several areas that could be improved.
Location: The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, which is a plus for travelers with early flights or late arrivals. However, it is quite far from key tourist spots like the Cellular Jail and the jetty, making it less ideal for sightseeing.
Room: The room was average. While it provided the basic amenities, there were a few issues. The fan was quite noisy, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Additionally, the switchboards in the room were broken, which raised concerns about safety. The lighting was insufficient, making the room feel a bit dark and unwelcoming.
Breakfast: The breakfast spread was quite limited, offering just a few options. If you’re looking for variety, this might not be the best choice.
Buffet (Lunch & Dinner): The lunch and dinner buffets were decent, though nothing extraordinary. The food quality was okay, but there wasn’t much to rave about in terms of taste or variety.
Overall, the hotel could benefit from some maintenance and improvement in terms of amenities and food options. While it may be a good choice for short stays near the airport, it might not be the best pick if you’re planning to explore the city extensively
Really good experience. The service is this place is excellent . It is a cost effective one.
The food is at the restaurant is homely and delicious plus at a really good price.
Rooms are spacious . Def recommend 👍
I recently stayed at the TSG Grand Hotel in Port Blair, Andaman and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay, making me feel right at home.
A special mention goes to Meena from housekeeping, who did an excellent job in maintaining my room. Her attention to detail and dedication to her work were evident, and it made my stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, I highly recommend the TSG Grand Hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay. I look forward to returning in the future!
We had a great welcome and experience by the reception staff over here named Juspina, Shilpi and Jonas. They provided us room extension based on our situation and request which is really appreciated.
