Had been to have lunch at Vivaha Bhojanam , Anantapur. Went to this hotel with much hope and it turned out to be a nightmare. The hotel was not maintained clean and neat. The staff & the manage gave a damn care for my request to clean the floor (just below the table we had occupied) as it was very dirty (used tissue papers and left over food & scattered across ). Adding to this was the stinking rest rooms. Sorry, Chef though the food was good, the attitude of the staff and uncleanliness of the restaurant masks the good culinary skills of yours
A must visit place if you are looking for great ambience and quality food. Mr. Mahesh Babu was excellent at his quick service, very welcoming and friendly, is multilingual and checks for every small detail throughout your visit in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for unique and the taste of authentic Telugu cuisine. Would love to visit again.
Highly disappointed! The tagline claims “Authentic Telugu Cuisine,” but as an Andhra native, I found the flavors far from authentic. The dishes lack the rich, bold taste Telugu food is known for. On top of that, the prices are exorbitant for such average food quality. Save your money and appetite—this is not the place for genuine Telugu cuisine lovers.
Spotted this restaurant for dinner on NH 44 when travelling to Bangalore from Hyderabad. Located on the left side on the highway if travelling towards Bangalore with ample space for parking. This is a typical Andhra style plantain leaf served Non Veg restaurant & they have a limited but good Veg menu too. The Non Veg menu is vast with too many choices to make it difficult to shortlist.
Nice ambience & has a vast seating area in a big premises. Dishes in the Menu are named in Telugu to make it more regional. Our meal plan was Vegetarian for the night & opted for few traditional Andhra rice items.
1. Pappuchaaru Annam – 4/5
2. Paneer Tikka Pulao – 4/5
Service was delayed though there were few Customers, found the Staff to be very polite & prompt. This place looks famous for Anantapur locals & travellers. Quantity served was good but prices are a bit on the higher side.
I have had my lunch here. The food quality and hygiene is well maintained. The staff are friendly and cooperative. I really recommend this restaurant for Andhra or South Indian cuisine.
