The hotel was chosen over the famous Naini Resort. The property was one of the three residents in Nainital belonging to the Royal family of Sahaspur – Bilari.
During the 3 days stay, I realized that it was a great decision.
Room: The room was on 2nd floor with two small balconies and a big window with lovely view (photo attached).
The room itself was nicely decorated. It is was airy, has natural lights. Overall has a positive vibe.
Staff: Restaurant staffs are well trained professional. They serve food with a lot of affection and warmth. Takes care of the need of the customer. You will get a home like vibe. The restaurant can prepare less spicy food as well, which we enjoyed.
Location: just next to the High Court. It is around 2 km from the Mall road and Naini lake. Walking distance.
Outside of the hotel has a vibrant garden with natural flora.
If you are in Nainital, this hotel is recommended for stay.
Note: The hotel does not have a elevator.
We stayed in this property for 2 nights. Main purpose was to visit Kainchi Dham Ashram of Neem Karoli Baba .
This facility is nestled among pine trees in a quiet corner of Nainital.Owned by a royal family and maintained by ITC heritage group.
Checkin was effortless.The premises were kept very neat.The room was clean. Bed linen was fresh .Bathroom was neat.We stayed in the Heritage room which was on the first floor.It was spacious and opened to a large common balcony which had good views.
We stayed in September, a rainy shoulder month for Nainital .So there were less guests at the facility. We had opted for free breakfast. Probably because the guests were less , there was no breakfast buffet. Breakfast was made to order and was tasty .
Special thanks to Manager Farhan Ansari who took extra care to make our stay comfortable and also for arranging our transport from Pant nagar airport.
Mall road is some 3 kms. away. You may have to arrange a conveyance yourselves to reach there.Good if there was some buggy drop off service from the hotel side.
The rooms were good and some have a huge shared balcony which is good place for kids to play.
The restaurant staff were really warm.
The location is quite good (near to mall road) and yet it’s peaceful.
Cons:
The wifi isn’t that great.
The breakfast and dinner menu is very basic.
Kids play area is below average.
Stayed here with family and friends. Location is good eg near the mall but away rush and noise.Neet, clean and spacious rooms, Food is good. Services are awesome. Staff is very professional, polite and courteous. This place has games and playing room for kids. This is a must try property.
