Lovely Stay at Yagappa Heritage Resort!
Yagappa Heritage Resort is nestled in a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by nature, offering breathtaking views of the hills. It’s just a stone’s throw from Coaker’s Walk and very close to Kodaikanal Lake, so we enjoyed pleasant morning walks all three days we were there.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, adding to the relaxing experience. We traveled as a group, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was fantastic, with no main dishes repeated during our stay.
Even though the rain interrupted our outdoor campfire, the team swiftly set up a cozy indoor hall, ensuring the fun continued without a hitch. There’s also plenty of parking. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!
Yagappa Resort is ideal for family vacation – Safe & Quiet stay , Good food and its prime location. Overall Value for Money .
Felt safe & comfortable with all basic amenities and a courteous staff.
Food spread & quality at the restaurant is a commendable.
The Resort location and its accessibility to move around & walk to the lake is an ideal distance.
Improvements requirement at the property are Garden and Play Area facilities for little outdoor activities.
What a wonderful experience over this weekend! Truly an awesome location and an amazing facility to bring yourself and family! Yagappa family has done a great job of ensuring an inviting atmosphere to relax and feel the comfort of the spacious environment. Easy access to transportation and the lake. I would certainly recommend this resort to everyone, it’s a must stay and will sure to be a memorable one!!
I had a wonderful experience at Yagapa Heritage Resort! The hospitality was top-notch, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient – it’s just a short distance from popular spots like Cocos Walk, Bryant Park, and the lake, all within a kilometre. The food was absolutely delicious.Special thanks to Mr. John for his excellent service – he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service!
Location – very good, besides coakers walk and briyant park, lake and bustand is walkable distance, having a open and clean ambience arround, free from traffic and other noise, free and good parking available, small kids garden with small merrrygoround, shiso, is available for small kids,
Room – good and clean rooms, I stayed in a room, which was very spacious and good for family of 2 adults and 2 young kids with extra bed. Bed and bed sheets were neat and clean, Hot water was not coming continuously, they did not kept shampoo, shaving kit. in room, towel, soap, dental kit, tea, coffee powder with hot pot was available for use. Resort provides evening camp fire which we can enjoy.
Food – Food quality was okay, but a bit costier, breakfast menu is limited to idly, dosa, wada, Pongal, bread and tea/coffe, they provides egg item on chargable basis, north indian item in breakfast was missing, dining facilities is small, if the resort is crowded than it is very difficult to have a comfortable breakfast as the hospitality team does not cop up to the demand, more over break fast starts after 08:30 morning, people wanted to start early for site seeing are bound to take breakfast outside.
Staff – co-operative and humble staff, managers are well behaved, responsive and polite.
Overall enjoyed the stay.
