Hospitality at its best. The hosts very really superb and will make you feel like home. The rooms are clean and spacious. The home cooked food also tastes good. Their maize from kitchen garden tastes amazing. We had a great time there.
Excellent Homestay – we were here for 3 nights and felt right at home from day 1. The family will ensure your time in Mechuka is fantastic. Also grateful to have met Bonny didi who took extra care of me when I fell sick, we were truly fortunate to be able to live with this genuinely wonderful family.

Mechuka extreme North Eastern part of Arunachal Pradesh bordering China is a place bestowed with all the beauty of nature. Road Journey to Mechuka is beautifully dangerous but on reaching Mechuka all the miseries & trouble facing on the way has vanished. The road conditions from Aalo to Mechuka is not at all fit for rainy seasons.
We stay at Zenyor home stay one of the best at Mechuka,run by Mr Pappu & Ms Oi, situated at an elevated area near Craft Centre of the town, allowing to view around. All rooms are well furnished with one double bed and one single bed covered with well cleaned white bed sheet and white covered Lap & Blanket along with attached bath room. The main attraction is the big central common room equipped with big size cable TV and Bukhari at the centre housing to sit around the Bukhari. In the evening it is very pleasant to enjoy the TV by sitting around the Bukhari, and testing snacks with tea & roasted corn served by Mrs Bhani & Oi accompanied with the running commentary on the history of different tribes of Mechuka from Mr Pappu. During our stay Mrs Bhani served us with delicious ethnic foods as well provide the hot water as and when necessary.
Really a beautiful homestay and felicitated by GoI under Atma Nivar India as Dimond homestay at Mechuka, thanks to Mrs Oi for arranging our border touring pass from the district administration and guide the route & regulations. We are thankful to Dr Azen Pujen of Aalo for bridging the connection with Zenyor homestay.
