This was my first time in zostel. Maybe the last. I did not have a good experience. Its wasn’t bad but i expected more interactive staff. Check in was fast. I was told on arrival after payment that their cook was on leave. The room was nice but for 3500 their were better rooms with room service available in vicinity so why should one choose zostel. The net functioned for a day and was dead, While it was functioning in the restaurant just behind zostel. Staff did nothing about it. Water pressure in bathroom was low. Blanket had cigarette burn holes. Common room was nice but the books were anything but interesting. They had coffee in rooms but not tea bags , do not know why. Property is congested with parking, tents, seating in same area. Drinking water is kept only on ground floor. The kettle in common room was never filled. Staff seemed more interested in cooking and looking after them selves. So this maybe good for solo or group travel but for couples its a big NO. There is absolutely nothing which they offer which the others do not at cheaper prices.
We got 4 sharing room and it was good. Neat and tidy. Geyser available. Location is totally worth it for visiting places in and around chitkul. The price seems a bit high it would be great if this could be revisited so that it’ll be budget friendly for solo travellers. They also have a common room with novels if you are love reading novels with a good view.
Very helpfull and kind staff. Good service. Nice and clean accomodations. I would say worth visit place . Location is superb near Baspa river. The food was yummy specially do try a Chilly paneer.

Very cosy and comfortable experience for our 1 night halt at this property in chitkul. Location is just excellent and food served here was also pretty nice. Overall, would give it a 5 ⭐ and definitely would visit again.
